The education programs at the Ecology Center provide urban environmental education to New Yorkers of all ages through meaningful, hands-on learning opportunities. We work with schools, community groups, and the general public to offer diverse programs in estuary education, urban ecology, food justice, composting, and more.




The Master Composter Certificate Course is an advanced compost education and outreach program designed to build a citywide network of educators, advocates, and community composters.
