Go Green Cooking Oil Recycling Program

The GoGreen Cooking Oil Recycling Program is a free, tax-deductible cooking oil collection and recycling service offered through a partnership between the Lower East Side Ecology Center, the Manhattan Borough President's GoGreen Initiative, and RWA Resource Recovery. Student groups trained by the Lower East Side Ecology Center’s EcoBizNYC Program will help participating businesses reduce their waste hauling fees, protect NYC waterways, and reduce rodent populations by recycling their cooking oil. The GoGreen Cooking Oil Recycling Program is open to restaurants, bakeries, hotels, and other food establishments.
