EcoBizNYC

Sustainable Small Business Program

EcoBizNYC, a program of the Ecology Center, seeks to help small businesses, students, and the general public to actively reduce air pollution, carbon emissions and airborne environmental health hazards in NYC through environmental auditing, education, and action. EcoBizNYC participants include small, storefront businesses located between 6th Street and 14th Street, East of First Avenue to the FDR Drive.  Participation in EcoBizNYC for businesses in this area is free. We encourage businesses outside of this area to work with local Business Improvement Districts (BIDs), community groups, and organizations to find sponsorship for program participation.

EcoBizNYC's initiatives provide small businesses with resources on how to reduce their overall emissions and negative impacts on community health. Small Businesses will be empowered to save money and increase their community support and involvement.
