Sustainability-In-Action: Quintessence serves 100% organic raw food. The restaurant is registered with the TapIt and Eco-to-Go programs. They reduce to-go items by asking patrons to request utensils and carryout bags. Quintessence also composts all food scraps. To help conserve water, they have a low flow sink and toilet in their restroom. All of their cleaning supplies are eco-friendly.
Sustainability Goals: Quintessence is looking to invest in a double-paned storefront window to reduce energy costs. They will also be replacing their dining area lighting with more energy efficient bulbs. Quintessence is planning on offering incentives for patrons, who bring their own to-go containers and bags.
