Sustainability-In-Action: Postal is very conscious of its energy usage. They work hard to make sure unnecessary lighting is turned off and appliances are clean and running efficiently. Postal also displays local art for sale and supports the surrounding community. The postal store is also participating in the “East Fourth Street Model Block” project, of the Borough President’s Go Green Lower East Side Initiative.
Sustainability Goals: Postal will begin to care for one of the trees in front of the store and is about considering switching to a renewable energy source.
