Sustainability-In-Action: Physical Graffitea helps conserve energy by turning off their ice machine and other appliances when they are not in use. They have a low-flow toilet and a low-flow aerator for their bathroom sink to conserve water. Physical Graffitea uses eco-friendly cleaning supplies and compost. Being a teashop, they find no need for bottled water because they much prefer an herbal concoction. For those looking for water, they have a triple filter system on hand.
Sustainability Goals: Physical Graffitea is hoping to get a bike rack and street tree on their portion of the block. They also are looking into switching to more eco-friendly to go supplies like cups, paper bags, and napkins. The tea shop is also working to upgrade their lighting to more energy efficient bulbs.
