Sustainability-In-Action: Green Depot carries an entire store of eco-friendly products including, chemical-free painting supplies, water-efficient bathroom fixtures and composting supplies. They even sell their own line of non-toxic cleaning products, which they also use to clean their store. Green Depot is located in a LEED certified building, which means they are energy and water efficient and have built the store with sustainable materials. They have eliminated bottled water usage and give out recycled paper bags printed with non-toxic soy ink to customers.
Sustainability Goals: Green Depot plans on providing incentives for customers to bring their own bags. They are also planning to adopt and care for a street tree on their block.
