Sustainability-in-Action: Rena Reborn sells new and recycled clothing and accessories. Much of their merchandise comes from local suppliers. The store passes on donated clothes they cannot sell to other boutiques and Goodwill. To conserve energy, they unplug all devices at night. They have low-flow faucets and toilets. To decrease waste output, they recycle and often give customers re-used plastic bags.
Sustainability Goals: Rena Reborn is looking into selling their own line of cloth bags and giving customers discounts each time they bring them back. They are planning on going through an energy audit, upgrading their lighting to energy-saving bulbs, switching to post-consumer or recycled toilet paper, and getting an air conditioner cover for the winter.
