Sustainability-In-Action: This silver-rated boutique’s inventory is 100% eco-friendly and locally-sourced. They have already replaced 60% of their light bulbs with energy efficient bulbs. They conserve energy by turning off unnecessary lighting, regularly cleaning the AC filter, turning off their AC during non-occupied hours, and using an automatic door closer. To help maintain indoor air temperature they have double-paned storefront windows with solar film. This boutique tries to recycle as much as possible and uses recycled-content bags.

Sustainability Goals: Since they are in the process of renovating their restroom, Eleven plans to install water saving fixtures such as a low flow aerator on the faucet and a toilet tank water displacer. If possible, they would like to install a low-flow toilet. For the winter, they are looking into covering their AC unit. To reduce waste from plastic water bottles, they plan to use a filtered water system. They are looking into ways to reduce their trash output. They plan to purchase 100% recycled toilet paper or at least 40% post-consumer recycled toilet paper, eco-friendly cleaning supplies, and indoor plants for their store.
