Sustainability in Action: In Vino conserves indoor air temperature with an automatic door closer and door sweep. In the winter, they install a vestibule. They have low-flow aerators on eligible faucets and have eliminated bottled water usage on the premises. They recycle all glass, metal and plastic waste and they recycle their leftover cooking oil.
Sustainability Goals: In Vino plans to switch over to renewable energy, begin using green cleaners, begin using post-consumer recycled bathroom products and install an energy efficient hand dryer in the bathroom. They plan on switching over to post-consumer recycled "to go" materials as well as carry out bags. They plan on becoming a TapIt refilling station and possibly signing a composting contract. Finally, In Vino also plans on switching to an energy efficient exit sign and installing a water displacer in the toilet.
