Sustainability-In-Action: Love Shine’s lighting has been upgraded to energy-efficient CFL lightbulbs. The boutique uses reclaimed materials including metal, plastic, and fabric to create a variety of products including bags and ornaments. Love Shine is community oriented, donating to local schools, hosting public events and gatherings, as well as offering local art students design inspiration through their products.
Sustainability Goals: Love Shine is interested having their store professionally weatherized to maintain temperature and reduce energy use. They plan to switch to reusable cleaning materials and phase out paper towel use where possible. They will also begin to recycle their printer cartridges.
