Sustainability-In-Action: B-Side has been employing green practices for a long time. They have been taking sustainability steps like cleaning the bar with vinegar instead of harsh chemicals, bringing their own bag to the market, using refillable ink cartridges, and picking up local juices from the farmer's market by bike. They are also energy conscious, using power strips to reduce "phantom loads", monitoring heating and cooling and never leaving any fixtures or equipment on when the bar is closed. Since joining EcoBizNYC, they have installed new saving energy light bulbs and fixtures.

Sustainability Goals: B-Side is looking into many new ecologically sustainable practices, including joining the TapIt water network to commit to refilling customer's reusable water bottles. Since joining EcoBizNYC, they have installed new saving energy light
bulbs and fixtures and switched to 100% wind energy.
