Sustainability-In-Action: Arcane is a French and Caribbean style restaurant. Arcane conserves energy by using dimmers and rarely using their air conditioning, instead opening up their large front windows for ventilation. The restaurant filters their tap water to eliminate bottled water usage. They recycle their cooking oil and use recycled toilet paper. After joining EcoBizNYC, Arcane signed up with their waste hauler to pick up and compost most of their green waste. Their to-go materials are biodegradable.

Sustainability Goals: Arcane plans to install water saving devices in their bathrooms such as faucet aerators and toilet tank water displacers. They plan to get a bike rack on their block, especially for their own bicycles. They also intend to work with their neighboring businesses to buy green cleaning products and restaurant supplies in bulk.
