Sustainability-In-Action: Seward Park Liquors saves energy by regularly turning off the air conditioning, keeping the refrigerators off overnight and into the early afternoon, keeping appliances on power strips that are turned off when not in use, and keeping lights off most of the day. They have been signed up with renewable energy options for years. They reuse as much of their cardboard as possible for packing glass bottles for their customers. Seward Park Liquors does not double bag, and encourages their customers to take only a paper bag. They use reusable/recycled towels and rags for cleaning and drying their hands.

Sustainability Goals: Seward Park Liquors plans to switch to eco-friendly cleaning supplies, such as vinegar to clean glass and green floor cleaner and hand soap. Although the amount of waste is already greatly reduced, Seward Park Liquors has committed to reducing their waste output by 10% by recycling all miscellaneous paper.
