Sustainability Goals: Teich plans on installing solar film on the windows and has requested that the City put in a bike rack in front of the shop. Teich is also planning to add an indoor plant to their store.
Sustainability-In-Action: Teich sells their own line of handbags, made from eco-friendly materials such as hemp and deerskin and the shop features a selection of accessories by local designers. All of the lighting is LED and CFL. All of the displays and furniture are vintage or second hand. The store was painted with VOC-free paint purchased at Green Depot. Teich’s uses eco-friendly cleaning supplies and recycled toilet paper.
